Safe for your roads, and non-disruptive

Surface Micro Cable Inlay is the premier choice of all surface fiber optic builds. SMCI utilizes an extremely small and robust micro cable from 7-9.5mm in diameter (cables pictured right). Because of the cables small size, the depth of the road surface to be cut is minimal to ensure the safety and security of the cable. By cutting less road surface you maintain the road structure stability, eliminating the drawbacks from other deployments which cut through the road entirely (or more then 2/3 of total thickness).

Secure

All SMCI cables are hermetically sealed ensuring that no water is allowed to enter and damage the fibres. The above is not true for other Surface, or Micro Trenching techniques. The core of the MCS Road Cable security is the rigid copper tubing, which will never flex out of the groove from hot/cold cycles. In addition to this the cable is able to deflect sharp foreign objects due to its small size and robust design.
